okay i finally found time aft th common tests to blog!11:34 PM wahahhahhahs.. went to sentosa ytd wif th excos til quite late to celebrate th end of common tests so had no time to blog. anws let's go backwards in time! yay 17th august o8! singapore paddlers made me super uber proud for attaining th silver medal in th women tabletennis team event, winning korea in th semis and losing china in th finals. i swr th match btwn kim kyung ah frm korea against li jiawei was mind-stressing cos kim kyung ah kept defending lyk hell and she was pro i have to admit, just slightly irritating cos she kept being damn boring just returning th atks dat jiawei made and trying to cause jiawei to make a mistake for her to win points. quite jian4 but still strategic larhhs. so jiawei lost aft a tough match wif score 3-2. so our heroine of th day was feng tianwei. lyk totally some new player i've nv seen previously. she won th finishing set against park miyoung and it was exciting cos of a rule stating dat a player cnt make mre than 13 returns or a point will be awarded to th opponent because of time constraints. so miyoung, who was rather good in defending too, had to atk and our tianwei had th upper hand. woots. th match was feng tianwei beat dang yeseo 3-0, li jiawei lost kim kyungah 2-3, li jiawei and wang yuegu against kim kyungah and park miyoung 3-0, wang yuegu lost dang yeseo 0-3 and finally feng tianwei beat park miyoung 3-1. all hail singapore! th match lasted hell long. 3hr20mins. it was th longest match in th beijing olympics. okaes i was so into th game lorhhs. and i support singapore paddlers all th way and i so dun mind thm being china-born cos they still rawk and brought glory to singapore. and i personally feel dat wang yuegu is ermms.. abit noob and she doesnt live up to th standard of world 7th. li jiawei is 6th and feng tianwei 9th. sadly, they still lost to china. not very shocking since china has players lyk zhang yining, world 1st, guo yue world 2nd and wang nan world 5th. they were very pro larhhs and since team singapore tried their best, its alrites having silver. it was emotional looking at our flag rise up tgt wif china and 3rd placing korea. okays it was a historical moment in singapore since we achieved th 2nd medal and th 2nd silver since 1960 whn weightlifter tan howe liang won. dat's whyy i decided to write th details all dwn so i can read tis half a century ltr and relive th magical moment. okaes obviously its old news but michael phelps won 8 golds in swimming and broke 7 world records, 1 olympic record. he's totally a legend. and he's super charismatic. LOL. and th most exciting event was th 100m butterfly whr he won kenya by 1/100 of a sec. totally pro, and tis made kenya super super pissed. fyi michael phelps can only get US$1mil (ard $1.38mil) for winning 8 golds and it's provided by his sponsers. and our paddlers could have $1.5mil by th state if they just won one gold medal. nvms they still won $750k. okaes another thing. usain bolt is th world's fastest sprinter! he's 100m is lyk 9.69s and he's 200m is 19.30s. both are world records and he got golds for both, making him th only person having golds for both events in history. and in his 100m run, he still lagged abit before th finishing line to show showmanship. since he was lyk so much in front of th 2nd place. and he still could break th previos world record set by himself. for th past few days, th only news i read is sports news. to tink i nv ever read sports news. olympics is so exciting. i totally got carried away many times while watching olympics during common tests and started studying hell late at 7pm-.- ignoring olympics for th time being, th excos went sentosa aft our last paper ytd. played volleyball, soccer and frisbee. played in th sea and truth or truth. got super turned off by some idiot smoking in th sea and dumping his cigarette butt into th sea. and kept spitting phlegm into th sea. damn freaking gross. thn we played volleyball and jieren hit th ball damn high until it got stuck in th coconut tree top. to tink th ball was borrowed frm th sch. so xq and jr started climbing up th tree trying to use th pole sylvia helped get to hit th ball dwn but to no avail cos th ball was so damn high up and it was unreachable. so we're intending to buy a new one to replace. went to dinner at kopitiam in vivo. slacked til ard 10pm and went home aft dat. got freaking sunburnt on my shoulders and have loads of trouble carrying my shoulder bag. gna change to backpack tml. rawrs. and tdy, grace, xq, jr and me wanted to go starbucks to chill out but cant find any starbucks anywhr. decided to make do wif coffee bean instead so we headed to lot1 tinking dat dere would be coffe bean dere and we were so wrong. so we went pastamania eat and slack. LOL. back to olympics, our paddlers joined th singles and wang yuegu went out in th first round of 32, losing to some world 50th dominican republic woman. was quite, i would have to say, disgraceful for someone lyk her wif top ranking. haish. th new paper claims she was too tired out bcos of fatigue bcos she was 28 years old and th oldest in th team. hello?! jiawei is only one yr younger lorhhs-.- feng tianwei (21yrold fyi) and li jiawei won th round or 32 and proceeded on wif round of 16. and unfortunately, tianwei's opponent was zhang yining and they had a hell close match and zhang yining won 4-1. their marks were very close for each set tho, the scores for the 5 sets were, 13-11, 12-14, 14-12, 12-10 and 13-11. tianwei is still our heroine nevertheless. jiawei won and she is now in th semifinals. and unfortunately too, her match tml is against zhang yining. i understand how treathened they must feel. nvms jiayou jiawei! i totally tink you're cute so all th best! im actually waiting for th tabletennis singles repeat now. dno which match tho. [added: realised it's feng tianwei against li jie frm nederlands. i realised alot of countries use china foreign talents too lorhhs. im so not against foreign talents esp in sports((:] hahs shall be off to watch. toodles^^ p.s. photos another day barhhs.
