i feel rather hurt dat singaporeans out dere are condemning th singapore's women table tennis team for being bought over frm another country.

it is true, i've to admit, dat th main reason whyy those china-born paddlers came to singapore is bcos of th good prospects they have here in singapore and, not surprisingly, th monetary benefits. however, who is to question whether they rly regard themselves as singaporean? some of them, take li jiawei for instance, has been here since she was 13. she has been living in singapore far longer than in china. she, for one, is a true blue singaporean.

to hell wif those ppl claiming she dragged th flag in th opening ceremony. she wasnt even doing it on purpose larhhs. her face was filled wif utmost sincerity on holding th singapore flag. not as if she was even literally dragging th flag on th flr. th end of th flag just touched th flr. her contribution to singapore is far greater than many singaporeans lorhhs. for you, a singaporean in name, wad else have you contributed other than singing th national anthem every morn and reciting th pledge. not as if you will even do dat whn you are out in th working society. even i myself, hvnt contributed to singapore as much as those paddlers.

credits to some article i saw on the straits times not long ago. if singapore could rly groom singaporean athletes to help singapore achieve medals, thn all th mre better it would be. but singaporean children are all raised up in an environment whereby academics are everyth. even if these children do have a flair in sports, their parents would still rather thm to strive even mre for academic excellence lorhhs. at least th china-born athletes are rly putting in their heart and soul to get a medal for singapore.

it is never a question abt nationality. th medal is for singapore. just look at th medal scoreboard in the straits times. hello? th silver medal th paddlers obtained is recorded right dere under singapore. which other idiot claims they were singing china's national anthem in their hearts whn china won gold and their national anthem was played? for goodness sake, i choose to believe they were humming our majulah singapura in their heads lorhhs! moron.

if you were to say they're china-born and will never be true blue singaporeans, would you even be called a true blue singaporean? other than being born in singapore, your ancestors all hail frm china, malaysia, india etc. in dat case, you wouldnt even be considered singaporeans, much less thm? being singaporeans now, they would have a family in th future. since their children would thn be born in singapore, wouldnt they be singaporeans too?

so to those freaking retards dat tink they're not singaporeans, just slap yourself, you're strictly not one either, just lyk thm.

flame th assholes on youtube.

i still love li jiawei, feng tianwei and wang yuegu for contributing to singapore. *cheers*

i so wanted to go raffles city shopping centre to lyk celebrate team singapore's return and to cheer for th women's team paddlers. i obviously love li jiawei. sadly i didnt noe abt it beforehand, only knowing abt thm going to rcsc frm ying in sch. so i didnt bring my camera and i didnt bring red shirt for th dress code. gahh!

so i didnt go, sadly.
